The long journey to where I am now.

I grew up in Colorado and attended high school in Pennsylvania and Florida. After joining the Army and studying at West Point, I faced a serious injury that led me to leave the academy. This transition brought me to finish my education at Vermont State University (VTSU), where I discovered a deep passion for climbing and helping others find meaning and purpose through outdoor experiences.

Looking Ahead: My Goals in Climbing and Guiding

As I continue to deepen my connection to the outdoors, I am committed to furthering my climbing education through the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). My ultimate goal is to achieve certification in all three disciplines—Alpine, Rock, and Ski—on the path to becoming an IFMGA mountain guide. Through this journey, I aim to not only enhance my technical skills but also to provide safe, meaningful, and transformative experiences for those I guide in the mountains.
